As of 30th September 2007, Sage will no longer sell Act! version 6 single user (multi user sales ceased on 30th June 2006).
What is a Withdrawal of Sale/Support Statement?
A Withdrawal of Sale/Support Statement is a declaration that Sage will no longer provide technical support for specific versions of Sage software. In a Withdrawal of Sale/Support Statement Sage will also provide a withdrawal of support date, being the date after which a new SageCover contract cannot be purchased or an existing contract renewed for the particular product version in relation to which a Withdrawal of Sale/Support Statement has been issued.
Why issue a Withdrawal of Sale/Support Statement?
The above versions of Sage software are now up to 4 years old and are not tested on the latest operating systems. A Withdrawal of Sale/Support Policy enables you and your business to take advantage of the latest technology and allows Sage to focus resource on improving the quality of its products and support.
